Volkswagen Jetta

Volkswagen has returned to the original name for its family saloon, relegating the Vento and Bora monikers to history. While the Golf influence is obvious from the front and from behind the wheel, the rear has much in common with the upmarket Passat. The Jetta is good to drive in all its engine variations, and can squeeze three passengers into the rear quite comfortably. It has a huge boot and is quite handsome, but still won't hold its value as well as an equivalent Golf.

S, FSI, SE, SPORT, TDI

All Jettas come with air conditioning, alloy wheels, electric windows, a full complement of airbags (with rear side airbags as options) and an electronic stability control system. SE models come with standard carpet mats, leather covered steering wheel, chrome plated radiator grille and cruise control. Sport models do away with standard cruise control, but have front foglights, larger alloy wheels, sports front seats and sports suspension (lowered by 15mm).
