Volkswagen Caravelle

Volkswagen has been building van-based MPVs for decades: the Camper Van and Transporter are the most well known. Caravelle is the latest in this line and is more comfortable and luxurious than ever before (that is as luxurious as a car that's based on a van can be). Unlike previous models, this Caravelle is available at any VW dealership - previously only selected outlets sold them.

V6, SE, TDI, PD

Standard on all models are seven seats, plus rail system for adjustments, ABS, driver and front passenger front, side and curtain airbags, eight-speaker stereo, remote central locking, alarm with interior and tow-away protection, body-coloured bumpers, height adjustment for driver and passenger seats, lumbar support and armrests, rear sunblinds on all side windows, a multi-function table, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, and front electric windows. SE adds a six-disc CD autochanger, front fog lights, lowered suspension, manual air conditioning, 16" alloy wheels and heated front seats. Range-topping Executive adds sports suspension, Climatronic automatic air conditioning, rear privacy glass, leather and Alcantara upholstery, electric side sliding doors, cruise control, trip computer, rain sensor and automatic dimming rear view mirror and heated washer jets.
