Vauxhall Vectra Estate

The Vectra estate wasn't launched with the hatch and saloon in mid 2002; buyers had to wait for until the tail end of 2003 for a load lugger. It's a far more accomplished model than the one it replaces. It's also very well equipped and even provides the driver with a measure of satisfaction. But this all-purpose (and huge) estate still lacks the character to cut it with the prestige brands and looks set to challenge Primera, Laguna and C5 rather than Passat or Mondeo. Residual values are likely to be weak once fleets start disposing, so Vectra will be a sensible used car choice.

LS, CVT, SXI, SRI, CDTI, 16V, DTI

While base models lack little luxuries like electric windows in the rear, Vectras in general are well-specced, with emphasis on safety features as standard.
