Smart ForFour

Smart's first model with more than two seats is actually a joint project with Mitsubishi and shares engines and chassis with their Colt supermini. If you are a fan of the Smart brand, then you'll like the styling and there are plenty of quirks to distinguish it from more mundane manufacturers, although it's more conventional than Smart has been up until now. The basic design makes for a fun car; just don't associate it in any way with Mitsubishi's previous Colt. The Brabus version makes for a special feeling car and is usefully more powerful than the Colt CZT it is related to. Given its high price however it needs to be and you'd really need to value its exclusivity to consider it your best value option.

CDI

The standard of equipment is quite basic on the base model, but does still include four airbags and stability control. There are some desirable options too like glass roofs. Plastic body panels resist dents and are available in ten different colours.
