Peugeot 1007

The 1007's big party piece is obviously its electrically operated doors. Opening within the length of the car and barely wider than the wing mirrors they make it possible to easily enter the front or rear seats even when parked in the tightest of spots. It also looks very funky and the 'Cameleo' interior trim system allows owners to change the interior colour scheme by replacing 17 bits of trim throughout the interior including front and rear seat inserts. You can either colour code (if you can be bothered), refresh the interior before selling or more likely replace a dirty or tatty trim after a few months of ferrying children about. Peugeot expects the majority of people who buy this car to be women and it is in its element within the city, but if you don't have an urban life planned for it then there are more practical and cost effective alternatives.

16V, SPORT, HDI

Those electric doors are pretty much unique and the main reason to buy this car. The interchangeable interior colour scheme is something different too. All models get a generous equipment tally including air-conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, trip computer, automatic headlights and a rear blind. Dolce is the basic model and the Sport model also gets automatic wipers, alloy wheels, sports seats and subtly different visual styling.
