Jeep Grand Cherokee Vehicle Review and Information.
Vehicle
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Vehicle Summary
All-new Grand Cherokee retains the familiar shape and many of the styling cues of the old model, but is a much better car. Among the improvements is a new diesel though, and at the top of the range, the option of a 5.7-litre V8 above the old 4.7 V8. It's still as convincing as ever off road, but it now has much better road manners. There are still criticisms: the interior isn't as roomy, or as well finished as you may expect of a car in this class, but overall, it's now a much stronger package.

Features
All Grand Cherokees come with permanent four-wheel drive and a five-speed automatic transmission. Air conditioning, electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, a CD/radio, electrically adjustable front seats and 17-inch alloys are available in the entry level-diesel. Limited models add rear parking sensors, climate control, leather seats and leather-covered steering wheel, heated front seats and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. From April 2006, the range was re-structured, consisting of the entry-level 'Predator Edition', Limited and Overland. 4.7-litre and 5.7-litre Limited versions were dropped. Predator edition has air-con, adjustable driver's seat, electric windows, front electric windows, heated electric mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels and tyre pressure warning system. Limited specification remains as before, while the range-topping Overland has two-tone leather and suede seats, sunroof, wood dash inserts, 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome roof rails and honeycomb grille.
