Hyundai Coupe

With Ferrari-inspired styling and a modest price tag, the Coupé can seriously undercut rivals such as the Toyota Celica or Peugeot 406 Coupé. It doesn't stand comparison with the likes of the Nissan 350Z or Mazda RX8 but then it is substantially cheaper. It's still a very entertaining car to drive, particularly with the V6 engine under the bonnet. Rear space is at a premium as with previous generations and the interior lacks ultimate quality betraying its Korean identity.

A fair amount of car for the money and a good level of equipment, too. All but the base model come with full leather interiors and air-con is fitted across the range.
