Ford Galaxy

The old Galaxy was good, but the latest model is even better. It's cleverer with space, safer and better to drive - three factors to make it a hit with families. It's now significantly bigger, with impressive easy-stow seats that offer good adjustment, even for those in the back. Ford has also upped the quality of the interior so there are now much better finishes and quality materials used throughout. Unlike the old model, this one is Ford designed and built: there will be no Volkswagen or SEAT version.

TDCI, LX

Three basic trim levels, LX, Zetec and Ghia. LX has electric windows and mirrors, climate control and a CD player. Zetec adds a mid-length overhead storage console and a dual zone climate control. The Ghia model has extra chrome detailing to the exterior, cruise control, automatic wipers and headlights (which activate when it starts raining or gets dark) and puddle lights (these are lights in the doors that illuminate the floor below). A Ghia X pack can ultimately be specified which adds a full length roof storage unit and full leather interior. Heated and ventilated front seats can be specified as an option.
