Citroen Xsara Picasso

This car is a regular at the top of the best-selling MPV chart - but that's probably more to do with enticing offers from Citroën dealers, rather than it being the best in its class. It's based on the Citroën Xsara, but is a more convincing package. It's comfortable, quite attractive and safer than most. But it's falling behind the class leaders, although recent revisions have improved the offering.

16V, VTX, HDI, LX, SX

Entry-level LX has electric front windows, heated electric mirrors, remote central locking and dual front and side airbags. SX adds air-con and Exclusive gets alloys, climate control and an electric sunroof.
