The Berlingo does everything midi-MPVs like the Renault Scénic can do, but at a much lower price – and Citroën dealers are usually willing to offer good discounts. Even so, you can expect decent resale values, too. Fuel economy is good, particularly if you choose the diesels, while insurance costs are reasonable.

XTR, HDI, Forte, Desire

The list of standard equipment is rather basic. Forte models have electric front windows, but you have to move up to Desire trim to add a CD player. Air-conditioning is an option across the lounge, while alloy wheels, stability control and parking sensors are only available at extra cost on Desire models.
