BMW 5-Series Touring

The new 5-Series looks distinctive and has every reason to live up to the previous model's reputation as one of the best cars in the world. It's longer, taller, wider, lighter, faster, cleaner and more economic. Although the saloon's styling splits opinion, the Touring model is a little less contentious, as it has a more traditional look to the rear. The Dame Edna headlamps remain, however. As time passes, the looks are becoming less of an issue, leaving a very impressive machine likely to continue BMW's position at the head of the class. Active steering, head-up-display and active headlights are serious gadgets.
